DR JOE WHITE is an educational psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. He is also a chartered psychologist within the British Psychological Society.

Prior to qualifying as an educational psychologist, Dr Joe White gained Qualified Teacher Status and spent four valuable years working as teacher in a three-form, single-site primary school in Stockport, Greater Manchester. There, he taught Year 2, Year 4, and Year 6.

As an educational psychologist, Dr Joe White’s main interests include (but are not limited to):

  • Cognition, learning, and specific learning difficulties;

  • Neurodiversity, including autism;

  • The interaction between emotional wellbeing, school engagement, and attainment.

Dr Joe White’s qualifications are as follows:

  • Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology, The University of Manchester (2019-2022);

  • Master of Science (MSc) in Psychology (with distinction), Manchester Metropolitan University (2017-2018);

  • Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Primary Education, The University of Manchester (2014-2015);

  • BA (Hons) in English Literature (first class), The University of Manchester (2009-2012).

Dr Joe White is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, has an enhanced DBS check, and his work with Fieldfare Psychology is fully insured.

Outside of work, Joe spends time with his wife and two-year-old son and enjoys visiting family, exploring new places, and catching up with friends.
